SAI spent the Holidays helping out one of our valued customers with multiple facility and material-handling upgrades to improve production flow and safety. We mechanically installed a green tire transfer system with conveyors, diverters, scanner, and PLC/electrical controls; upgraded an accumulation loop by removing and reconfiguring conveyors, also adding catwalk handrails for safety; relocated and modified a heavy roll storage rack with new guardrails; installed a new conveyor for larger products; and added multiple guardrail sections to protect conveyors and material elevators.
